FEES

Lauren Baker Psychology charges $250 per 50-minute session. Medicare rebates of $145.25 are available with a GP Mental Health Care Plan, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $104.75. Lauren Baker Psychology accepts Medicare rebates and private health insurance rebates.

Session Fees

  • Standard 50-minute session: $250 (no referral needed unless you want a Mental Health Care Plan which you will need to get from your GP).

  • 90 minute sessions are also available on request

Medicare Rebates

With a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per 50-minute session under the Better Access Initiative.

  • This means your out-of-pocket cost is $104.75 per standard session.

  • Medicare rebates can be processed at the time of payment.

Private Health Rebates

Some private health insurance providers may offer rebates for psychology services. Please check directly with your insurer to confirm eligibility.

Payment Methods

Payment is required at the time of your session. Credit card, cash payments are direct deposits are accepted.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 48 hours notice: No fee.

  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the session fee.

  • Same-day cancellation or non-attendance: Full session fee, irrespective of circumstances.
