About Me

I’m a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals to navigate life’s challenges and create more meaningful, fulfilling lives. I feel privileged to work with members of the Northern Rivers community and am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

My Approach

I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. My approach is collaborative, I work alongside my clients to develop personalised treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals and can be applied to everyday life. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including EMDR and ego state therapy; Compassion focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

I work with a Adults 18+ supporting a broad range of psychological presentations including the following:

  • Self Esteem and Identity

Qualifications

I hold a bachelor degree with honors in Psychology from the University of New England, as well as a clinical masters degree in Psychology from Griffith University. I am a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

I am a member of EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA). I have worked across both public and private health settings and have been in private practice since 2012.

More Information

I primarily work under Medicare’s Better Access model and offer both 50-minute and 90-minute sessions. Appointments are available in person at my Alstonville practice, or online via telehealth.
